Medical Receptionist

Hiring Full-Time 40 hr + Medical Receptionist
One year + experience in a medical office required

Duties will include:

• Registering patients. Collecting guarantor/insurance information needed for billing.
  
• Verifying patient information.
  
• Collecting balances and co pays.
  
• Accounting for monies collected at end of day.
  
• Large volume of telephone calls/scheduling
  
• Working with a small team to manage patient flow in office
  
• Scanning into EMR and Medical Record Management

Skills/Qualifications:

• Multi-tasking is a must as our office is fast paced; Flexibility,
• Telephone Etiquette, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Professionalism, Excellent documentation and follow-up.
• Preferred: Use of electronic medical records, electronic scheduling systems, and online insurance verification, 50+ WPM

Medical Assistant

Metro ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery is seeking candidate for fulltime medical assistant position. We offer an exciting position for the ideal candidate interested in joining our team of 4 physicians and 1 physician assistant.

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to, escorting patients to exam room, obtaining basic patient history, inventory/stocking of supplies in exam rooms, and assisting physicians with daily patient encounters as well as procedures.

The ideal candidate must be punctual, enthusiastic and motivated to learn, and work well in team setting and fast paced environment. Proficiency in Spanish and experience with an EMR is a PLUS.

Additional requirements:

• 2+ years Medical Assistant experience working in a clinical setting
  
• Medical Assistant diploma preferred
  
• ENT experience is preferred (willing to consider based on past work experience)
  
• Computer proficiency
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
